Taco Biscuit Bake, this one is from my mother-in-law, it’s a big hit in our family.  It is also simple and quick.  You can make the biscuits from scratch with Bisquick or you can use canned biscuits like Pillsbury or any generic kind as well the flaky layer kind works best.  You will need: a little less than a lb of ground meat, 1 cup salsa, taco seasoning, 2/3 cup of water.  Also sour cream a nd shredded cheese for topping.

Start with a sauce pan and cook meat.  Then add taco seasoning.  Next add 1/2 cup of the salsa and 2/3 cup of water.  Cook until thick.  Next, put the meat mixture on each biscuit and spoon on cheese on tbsp per biscuit.  Then fold over dough (if you are using Bisquick), if not, top with the other half of biscuit.  Spray cookie sheet and cook 9-14 minutes.   Serve with remaining salsa and sour cream and cheese.
