March 23-April 1st. 12th Annual Classic Rock Art Show. This year art on display will include pieces by Paul McCartney, John Lennon, Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia, John Entwistle (The Who), Jimi Hendrix, Ron Wood (Rolling Stones), Robby Krieger (The Doors), Ringo Starr, U2, and Lynard Skynard and Even John Mellencamp.
Items will include photos, animation art, gold records, concert tour posters, and hand signed artwork! Admission is FREE! A portion of the proceeds this year go to The Rock and Roll Forever Foundation is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) created in 2007 by Steven Van Zandt. Little Steven’s Rock and Roll High School (LSRRHS) is the Foundation’s national middle and high school curriculum initiative. Groundbreaking, geared toward national and state standards, interdisciplinary in scope, featuring legendary performers, available free to every middle and high school in the country within two years: LSRRHS will give students a point of real connection in a time when dropout rates are at an all-time high.
Live broadcast by DJ-Andre Gardner begins at 2pm on March 23. If you have the opportunity to stop by during the broadcast you’ll be entered in a chance to win tickets to Van Halen’s Concert in Atlantic City on the 24th! If you are a Springsteen fan mark you calendar for March 27th. That evening of the Art Show, attendees will be entered to win concert tickets to his concert at Wells Fargo Center. There will be a Springsteen tribute band playing at the Art Show that same day! Pastor Charles I hope you’ll be there and I hope you win!
The hours of the Art Show during its run at the mall are as follows:
Monday-Saturday 10am-9pm, and Sunday 11am-6pm. Happy shopping!
