Peter Wentz Farmstead in Worcester, will have a spring celebration this Saturday on April 14th from 10a-3p.  Bring your family to see what life was like on the farm.  While the farmstead is most known as host to George Washington’s troops during the fall of 1777, they are also a living historic farm.  On this day, they will be sharing the activities of colonial farming.

Kids will be able to visit the 6 new-born lambs and see sheep shearing demonstrations.  There will also be lots of other activities for you and your kids to enjoy; colonial toys, games, scarecrow building, storytelling and puppet theater.  There will be farm tours, open-hearth cooking, spinning, weaving, and colonial music!

The Wentz Farmstead is on Shearer Rd in Worcester near the intersection of rt 73 and 363 in Montgomery County.  Call 610-584-5104 for more info or
